Aim

This module instructs participants in the following 
areas:
a. Assessing and documenting risks in the company, 
b. Planning and reviewing measures for ASGS, 
c. Moderating and communicating risk management 
and,
d. Exceptions to requirements for ASGS. 
Upon completion, students will be able to:
– Carry out a comprehensive risk analysis in the 
company 
– Apply various risk assessment methods in a 
situation-specific and practical manner 
– Systematically record chemical, biological, physical 
and psychosocial risk factors 
– Evaluate measures for technical, organizational and 
personal exposure protection, and apply them as 
appropriate to the situation 
– Interpret measurement results, derive and communicate measures 
– Apply basics of human performance and risk 
perception into practice

Contents

– Recognize relevant ASGS hazards throughout the 
company
– Planning and carrying out risk assessments 
– Interpretation of measurements and hazard 
assessments in a systematic risk assessment 
– Evaluation and practical implementation of 
measures to minimize risks 
– Evaluation of the effectiveness of the implemented 
measures 
– Audits & controls 
– Exceptional situations from legal and operational 
requirements
