Aim

Employees are exposed to a wide range of work-related demands and environmental factors. In addition, technological systems and human-machine interactions are continually evolving—often rapidly. To ensure health and safety in the workplace, it is essential to assess and manage human factors effectively.
Upon completion, students will be able to:
– Conduct ergonomic risk assessments
– Evaluate the balance between individual work 
demands and available resources
– Understand and apply key concepts related to 
human reliability and human error
– Identify and assess human-related risk factors in 
the workplace
