C10: Evaluation of occupational health interventions

Module Description

Aim

To assure effectiveness, occupational health interventions need to be subjected to evaluation. Considering the original concept of the intervention, students will analyze, evaluate and report on the context, process and outcomes of implemented interventions.

Upon completion of the course, students will be able to:

  • Define the scope, intended uses and primary users of evaluation results
  • Design an evaluation project, select appropriate methods and specify data sources
  • Collect, analyze and interpret data
  • Draw conclusions based on evaluation data and develop recommendations
  • Communicate evaluation results to the stakeholders (incl. reporting) and induce follow-up activities
